The school was established in 1952 and it is a state institution. It is located in the charming town of Nowy Sacz, in the beautiful mountainous area of Southern Poland.

On completing the school, students have both qualifications to start working (Professional Technical School, Vocational School) and possibility to pass matura exam and begin studies (Professional Technical School, Secondary School).
At present, a number of extra-curricular activities are run in our school ( e.g. different catering courses, tourist association, economic club, math club, biology club). There are also many traditional school events such as Young Talents Festival, Foreign Language Song Contest, The Beskids Race, Patriotic Song Contest and Drama.
Our students also participate in many activities, happenings and charitable events e.g. The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, The Valentine’s Blood Donation, Collection of Teddy Bears, The Day without a Cigarette, Voluntary Services etc.
There is also an international exchange of youth along with partner schools, including Lower Secondary School in Wetter in North Rhine-Westphalia. We also hosted pupils from Norway and Serbia. Moreover, we closely cooperate with the EDUCO Catering School from Námestovo in Slovakia.
Our school maintains not only an unbroken tradition but also modernity. The school offers well-equipped classrooms and three canteens where our students acquire practical skills. It also has its own confectionery, cafeteria and the hall of residence.
